HOW I GOT THE NAME & MORE:
In 2013, I decided to start building my new business when I could… which ended up being on the weekends only. So on July 4th, 2013, Weekend Warrior TX emerged with mostly hand soldered jewelry pieces & gemstones. In late 2016, I decided to leave my job as an Events Coordinator to focus on this shop full time.
Although, the majority is done solo, by me… I say “we” throughout this site because there is so much support involved. From my growing family, those ametuer photoshoot sessions & pop-up shop partners, WWTX would be nada without “we”! Being a South Texas native with a strong Mexican culture, there’s no doubt that the places I’ve grown up & the people I’ve met along the way have inspired the evolution of this shop.
My vision is that this not only serves as a shop, but becomes a place to collect, connect, create & feel inspired. I strive on providing the most unique handmade gifts, spiritual real-ness, Mexican flavor & ‘how to’ tutorials for your next project… all in one, positive, place!
